The Flight Fiction

A man, in the sense that he is over 18 years of age, only by one year, but a man nonetheless, is sitting in an airplane, a 747 owned by the airline company of JetBlue.  He is silent and does nothing but stare out of his window.  He’s lucky today; it’s very cloudy out and, despite the turbulence it causes, he can take solace in the beauty of the pure white cumulonimbus clouds that surround the plane.  He does not use the nine hours to abuse the free movies generously provided by JetBlue, nor is he reading an interesting book, nor is he playing some sort of hand-
